On December 16, 2014 a vehicle came through the parking lot of 500 West Main Street and left the roadway crashing through a fence. The vehicle went down an embankment and struck a side walk and building. The vehicle while striking the building traveled down the side walk and destroyed two steel hand rails and then fled the scene.
Debris left at the scene indicated that the vehicle was a KIA and was bright blue in color. Photographs of vehicle parts are attached to this release. The Hendersonville Police Department is attempting to learn the identity of the driver of this vehicle. The crash occurred during the early morning hours and no one was injured.

ARRESTED……..In the early morning hours of Friday, December 19, Hendersonville experienced burglaries or attempted burglaries to three businesses on Volunteer Dr. Additional burglaries were reported at a convenience store on Old Shackle Island Rd. and a convenience store on New Shackle Island Rd. A white sedan with a dark colored top is suspected to be involved. This post will be updated as additional information is obtained from surveillance video.

On 12-16-14 the Hendersonville Police Department investigated a Burglary that occurred at Jersey Mike’s Subs located at 247 West Main Street, Hendersonville. The results of this investigation have indicated that David Griffin (an ex-employee) of Hendersonville is responsible. The business owner caught David Griffin in the act and contacted Police. David Griffin ran from the scene on foot prior to Police arrival and has yet to be apprehended. He was last seen near Walton Ferry Road near Campus Drive. Active arrest warrants are on file for David Griffin.
